Metal detector LORENZ GMBH Pulse 5
The PULSE
5 is a very versatile metal detecting system which was designed to locate
both small and large metal objects. Different Searchcoils ranging from 10’’
(26 cm) diameter to 80” x 80” (2 x 2 m) frame mounted coils can be connected
to the PULSE 5.
A special feature automatically adapts different searchcoils to the electronics.
There is just one Detector necessary which offers best performance with any coil
connected.
The PULSE 5 is based on the Pulse Induction principle which
guarantees extreme detection depths even in soils with high contents of
ironoxides or conducting saltwater.
The PULSE 5 responds very sensitively and precisely to small
non-ferrous metal objects like coins for example. A target classification with
conductivity meter reading offers more information in order to identify metal
objects.

STANDARD EQUIPMENTS
AVAILABLE ACCESSORIES
Universal cable coil:
Can be wound to different coils: (28'' x 28'' - 40'' x 40'' - 40'' x 80'' -
80'' x 80'') and fastened to a metal free frame (PVC-pipe) with tape. With
those frame mounted coils large areas can be covered in a short time. This is
especially usefull when looking for bigger deeply burried metal objects while
ignoring those smaller metal pieces at the surface of the ground.
40'' x 40'' PVC-frame coil:
Frame coil for the fast location of medium sized or larger metal objects at
depths of up to 216’’. Can be operated by two persons carrying the coil
with the supplied straps. The coil cable is protected inside the PVC- tubes.
This square frame is very easy to use and can be simply assembled or
disassembled for transport. Small nails, single coins and most interferences
from the ground will be ignored automatically with this coil
10’’ searchcoil:
Usefull for the location of small objects like coins for example
14’’ double D-searchcoil:
Separate Transmitting and receiving windings offer more stayable operation on
soils with high contents of ironoxides (minerals). Pinpointing small metal
pieces is very easy with the double D-searchcoil, which can be used for most
search applications.
18’’ searchcoil:
Powerfull deep scan searchcoil with high sensitivity for non-ferrous metal
pieces (gold for example). Medium sized metal objects will be indicated at
com-parable depths as with a frame mounted searchcoil. Larger metal objects
will give signals from a distance of up to 150’’. Can be operated by a
single person (Weighs only 600 g).
